Kaelin Tuell Poulin is the Co-Founder of LadyBoss Weight Loss, a Best Selling Author, and highly sought after Weight Loss Expert. A Brief History Of LadyBoss

Kaelin Poulin founded LadyBoss after losing 65 pounds herself and learning the truths about weight loss along the way. After years of fad dieting, counting calories, a food addiction, and an eating disorder, Kaelin went on a search to find out how to lose weight “the healthy way”. Through rigorous days, weeks, and months of research, she uncovered the lies that the weight loss industry had been marketing for years and discovered the truths of how to lose weight without giving up the foods you love, counting calories, exercising for hours a day; and all while ditching the “diet cycle” that so many women get stuck in.

After learning these truths about weight loss, Kaelin went on to lose 65 pounds in 7 months, set a World Record in Fitness, become a Barnes & Noble #1 Best Seller for her book Big Fat Lies, and open LadyBoss: Women’s Health & Weight Loss to help other women learn and use these same philosophies.

Our LadyBoss weight loss philosophies are centered around ditching the scale, still enjoying the foods you love, making fitness fun and doable for any level, and being a part of our support community to help encourage you along the way, so you’re not doing it alone.

There is more to losing weight than hopping on the scale weekly. As a matter of fact, we don’t recommend weighing yourself very often at all, because the scale is a LIAR.

LadyBoss is NOT a fad diet. Instead, we recommend looking at nutrition as a blocking system that includes carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. There is no food restriction or calorie counting involved.

For fitness, LadyBoss works to destroy the mold that was formed for women’s health. While cardio is an essential aspect of heart health, it is not the weight loss solution women believe it to be. As a matter of fact, it’s not even the first thing women should focus on. LadyBoss encourages women to take up strength training and bodyweight exercises instead.

LadyBoss believes that fitness is essential for physical health, but it’s also crucial for mental and emotional health. For this reason, we recommend women take part in workouts that they enjoy and workouts that help them build strength and confidence.

The LadyBoss weight loss philosophies go against the present day fads of “diet cycling”, magic pills, and extremism to lose weight. LadyBosses learn to lose weight in a simple way that will give them long term results.

Our Content Creation Process

When it comes to providing content to our clients and readers, we want to deliver the best. We don’t just slap blogs onto our page that say buzzwords to get people’s attention. We are here to inform our clients, followers, readers, and audience.

Here’s a little look into our process for writing content across the company:

First, our editors do their research. They look into those hot topics that are flying around the Internet. If it’s trending, we know about it. Once the editor knows what you want to read about, they learn more about it to see if it really is a healthy or helpful trend.

Next, the editor creates a content brief explaining the topic and research to the writer.

Once the writer receives the content brief, they begin their research. Using credible sources and their own experiences, the writer gains a greater understanding of the topic and how to inform the reader.

After the writing is complete, the writer submits the work for a multi-step review process. The process is so intense; we made a whole new section for it.

After a coach or writer submits their work, it goes through an intense review process.

Here are the steps:

4. Legal Review
5. Final Copy Edit
6. Executive Review

8. Ongoing Review & Updates

First, the writer does a self-review of the work. When they are finished dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s, they hand it off to the editorial board.

The editorial board reviews the article for tone, grammar, voice, and structure. Then, the editorial board does another level of fact-checking (because you can never be too careful when it comes to health and wellness).

After the fact-checking is complete, it is subject to legal review. LadyBoss wants to make sure that there are no misleading or dangerous statements in our content. It’s all about being as clear as possible to help inform our readers.

Once the legal review is complete, it goes in for a final copy edit. This step is to ensure that there are no grammatical errors in our work.

Next, it gets handed off for the executive review. That’s right! Kaelin wants to approve everything before it’s published. This is another level of accuracy added to our content creation.
