Healthy mug cake

The other day I was reviewing one of my client’s nutrition logs and learned that I have some pretty intelligent clients in the Personal Results Coaching Program. One, in particular, found a way to have her cake and not feel guilty about eating it, too. She’s been whipping up chocolate mug cake week after week, without using up her cheat meal to do it. That, my friends, is pure genius.

My client was onto something great here. She’s been making cake in a mug! That was clue number one that she had discovered something good. But she showed true genius by making a microwave cake. Do you see the magic here? We’re using a microwave to make this cake! She found an easy way to eat healthy while still keeping the fun in her nutrition plan. Plus she found a way to save on time, clean up, AND calories!

Seriously, you’ve got to be getting the hint by now. Mug desserts provide happiness and satisfaction with none of the guilt or mess.

My Client Nailed The Chocolate Mug Cake Game

Think about this a minute. She’s making a chocolate mug cake and doesn’t have to share with anyone! That little nugget of genius caught my attention immediately. As moms, wives, sisters, or whatever your role is, someone’s always trying to get a forkful of whatever we’re having.

But it’s not just that you don’t have to share. Next, you find out that it’s not just some sugary, white flour, diet-killing cake batter she’s throwing into a coffee mug. This is a healthy, protein-packed, guilt-free mug cake we’re talking about. And it’s made in the microwave! Everything about healthy mug cake recipes is genius.

Do you know the kind of power that gives us? Reaching healthy goals isn’t easy when you feel like you have to eliminate all the fun from your diet. And the truth is, you don’t have to cut out all the fun! You just might need to be a little creative about how to make it part of the plan.

With this mug cake recipe, you can have your cake, AND eat it, too! No more missed birthday celebrations for you, LadyBossⓇ!

  3. This mug cake will easily (and sneakily) satisfy your late-night, sweet-tooth fix.

  5. Cake > every other meal of the day.

Tips For Healthy Mug Cakes

It’s a good thing to mention here that not all microwave brands/models are the same. Each one is different. If you have a powerful microwave, above 1000 watts, 60 seconds is probably enough. For those of you with an older unit, with a very low wattage, you might need to increase the time you nuke this cake. It might take up to two minutes for that perfectly-baked mug cake.

Here’s the good news: if you mess it up the first time, it only takes seconds to try again.  This time, choose a shorter cooking time and slowly increase if necessary.
