Air Fryer Bagels: The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
And air fryer bagels taste sooo much better!
I would have never thought to make bagels in the air fryer, but luckily for us all, we can!
I’m not going to lie, I could seriously eat bagels every day, multiple times daily. I also would have zero problem choosing one (or 4) of those Cinnamon Crunch bagels from Panera for a cheat meal, any day.
And if the orders at the local coffee shop are any indication, I’m not alone!
So, what if I told you, you could have a healthier version of your favorite bagel completely homemade? Oh, and that you can finally use the air fryer that has been in the box since the holidays?
Can you say, winning on all fronts!?
Easy, Delicious Bagels: Air Fryer Bagels
There are many bagel recipes that use active dry yeast, enriched wheat flour, and self-rising flour.
But, I had found that with the combination of ingredients I used, there wasn’t a need for the active dry yeast. I also chose to stick with whole wheat flour because it’s less processed than the other options I have.
Bonus info: I also found you can use gluten-free flour and get the same results with respect to taste.
To keep it simple, you know I’m all about that life, use this base bagel recipe. To jazz it up, scroll to your bagel of choice for additions.
Believe me when I say, BAGELS FOR DAYS!
