Sweet Potato Protein Chili

Ingredients
  

  • 6 oz cooked shredded turkey breast
  • 1 medium sweet potato diced
  • ½ c marinara sauce
  • c diced onion
  • c chopped celery
  • ¼ c water
  • ¼ tbsp chili powder
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ can black beans drained and rinsed
  • ½ tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 avocado for topping

Instructions
 

  • In a crockpot, add sweet potato, marinara sauce, onion, celery, water, chili powder, cumin, and black pepper in a slow cooker.
  • Cook on high 5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Add turkey and beans.
  • Cook until flavors have blended, about 1 to 2 more hours.
  • Top with fresh avocado.
