Chocolate Protein Bar Recipe
A good homemade protein bar doesn’t have to be 90% peanut butter. This recipe is nut-butter-free and delivers a delicious taste as well as tons of nutrients.

- 1 ¼ c gluten-free rolled oats
- ½ scoop LadyBoss LEAN
- 8 pitted Medjool dates
- ¼ c sugar-free maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ c almond milk
- A pinch of salt
- 8 oz dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
In a food processor or blender, process oats until it becomes a fine powder.
Add dates, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. Pulse until well-combined. (Mixture should be tacky, but not sticky… add more protein powder or milk to get the desired consistency).
In a small prep bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil.
Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between until chocolate is completely melted.
Press oat and protein mixture into an 8x8 parchment-lined baking pan.
Spread chocolate mixture over the top.
Refrigerate 2-4 hours, or until chocolate is set.
Cut into 4x2 squares.
