Low-Carb, High-Protein Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 scoop + 1 tbsp LadyBoss LEAN divided
  • ¼ c gluten-free baking mix
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil melted, divided
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cold water as needed

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk 1 scoop of LadyBoss LEAN, flour, and baking powder until well-combined.
  • Add 1 tsp coconut oil and unsweetened applesauce until a sticky dough forms. (If the dough is too dry, add 1 tsp of cold water at a time, until the dough is sticky).
  • On a floured surface, form a 2-inch thick “snake” with the dough and flatten.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 tsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp LadyBoss LEAN and cinnamon until a loose paste forms.
  • Spread cinnamon mixture over the dough.
  • Carefully roll dough into a bun, and place in a 4-inch greased baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Notes

Make five cinnamon rolls on Sunday, and enjoy them for breakfast throughout the week. It’s meal planning without the guilt!
